Join a photographic adventure in Barcelona, one of the most vibrant cities in Europe!
A bustling contemporary metropolis filled with friendly people with a passion for life, Barcelona is a city where people live outdoors. As you walk down Paseo de Gracia and Las Ramblas to Plaza Catalunya, you can photograph street performers, pet sellers, strolling locals and tourists. On your walking tour you will experience the history of the city through its magnificent architecture - from Roman remains to its modernist buildings. In particular you will see the outstanding contribution of Antoni Gaudi as you photograph the outside of two of his masterpieces - La Pedrera (Casa Mila) and Casa Batlo.
Another of Barclona's famous attractions is its gastronomy. You will experience the colors, taste and smells of La Boqueria the best food market in Barcelona. Here you have an ideal opportunity to experiment with shooting in low light and metering for different subjects.
Continue to the Barri Gotico, Gothic Quarter, the old part of town and walk along the original Roman road between medieval walls to photograph the narrow streets and town squares. Finally at Paseo de Borne near Parque Ciudella if you have brought a digital camera your guide will give you a critique of some of the photos taken.
