  3. All in All the tour was very good. We were a bit disappointed to hear that the English tour was a bilingual tour. The guide worked very hard, but spoke so fast that it was difficult to catch on when he stopped speaking Spanish and started to speak English. We had another bilingual tour when the guide finished in Spanish and would tell those tourists to stay close but explore, while he spoke to the English tourists. It was a much preferable approach. At the end, the guide gave several options to return to the train station. We attempted the walk and could not follow his directions, which were confusing. We had to walk back up the hill and take a taxi. Perhaps he can hand out a map for those who want to walk back to the station.
  4. The description of this tour is a bit misleading. Yes, we exchanged our vouchers at an office at the train station (a bit hard to find, so get there early!). The train was nice and it was a quick trip. We then had to get on a tour bus and meet a guide. The tour bus showed some great views of the city and then went up into the city center where we got off and the tour guide led us to the cathedral. He then guided us through the cathedral which was interesting but it was in both English and Spanish so it could be a little hard to follow. After that, we were free to see the city on our own. There was no three course lunch, though and we were ready to go back about an hour before our train was scheduled to leave. I think this could be done better on one's own.
  5. I found the whole experience exhausting. The guide had to much to do in a limited time and this lead to a bad day. Toledo is a worthwhile experience but take a more leisurely experience.
